Well to go by the MOTD highlights, stoke were robbed by cheating Villa.
Gary said Villa were excellent.Lawro just sat looking clueless

Lawrenson said we played very well indeed.
Did  I get it the wrong way round that's what a bottle and a half does for you

No, they both said it!

When the last two goals went in it was total pandemonium in that away end. Total and utter jubilation. Days like today live with you forever.

Couldn't have put it better. Still buzzing.

Up to the dizzy heights of 16th now!  Let's hope Chelsea and QPR make sure it stays that way!

I did my usual, in that on 70 i buggered off from all communication and we won again. It is working well!

From what I saw, I thought Shawcross and Huth, perhaps inevitably, shackled the big man well until, well, boom.

Gabby ran his arse off first half.

Bowery did well and held up the ball, brought the midfield into play and helped us get control of the ball.

Bennett had a good game - said it on the thread,we have to get him more involved in whipping the ball in, he has a wand of a left foot that one day will make him a top player.

Weimann was quiet but worked his arse off.

Westwood and Delph are a really good partnership. Milner with them just in front would be the bomb.

I hope those banging on that the likes of Westwood, Lowton, Bennett, Vlaar etc are not up to it will ease off on them. They could be excellent next season with a bit of confidence if we can survive this. Lambert is a good manager in my opinion, streets better than TSM last season and the O'Neill that left us. We need to stick with this group, they are showing they have guts too. Stay up and use a bit of the new TV cash, free up more wages from those who offer nothing and trust Lambert to go again.

Exactly - this was the shittest ever time to take over the Villa (GT MkI aside. 3 seasons of car crashes which cracks were papered over.

Get rid of the overpiad twunts based on stupid wages (50% successful and easier said than done), then weed out the troublemakers, slightly easier (50% successful), then create a team out of nothing (50% succesful).

I think Bruce is OK.

I think Keane is okay.  Not as a manager, he's evidently quite crap at that, but as a pundit, he's great, the nearest thing we have to Eamonn Dunphy, that can't be a bad thing.

Even the MOTD "analysts" are backing us.  Gods bless you Lowton, that was the moment that svaed our Premier League status.  The equaliser almost made me cry, that shot did make me cry.  Beautiful.  Fulham and Sunderland will confirm it.  I'm so happy.  So. So. So. Happy.

MOTD was great tonight. Fully intendedn to watch in dignified manner but...
My lad got put of bed to watch it and we got righteously carried away and did the "living-room sprint" as we scored much to the disgust of my long-suffering wife - she is appalled as we are planning to add away trips to our season tickets next year

Can't wait for Fulham...

Hes a brilliant pundit.

All that simmering anger and the way he seems to be holding back from calling the rest of them a bunch of ******.

Even in the TV studio Keane's an intimidating fucker. Fantastic footballer but an arsehole of a man. His comments about Mick McCarthy & subsequent walk out on his country speaks volumes about his character.
