Bowery's gone missing
More worryingly, Benteke hasn't even turned up yet. Being marked out the game.

BBC sport says it was Gabby fouling goalie and is then booked for dissent!!!

Who is watching this game....a blind man?

I sometimes think the BBC football journo's are all bluenoses..

Fuck off Referee. Keeper caught him.

dive

caught him. whether it was a penalty or not, his foot was clearly caught.

he shoulda shot anyway, and none of it woulda happened.

This is a big thing in football, it's all well and good to punish players for diving but of you try to stay on you r feet it's very rare for refs to give them, so you get situations like that where they try to stay up, realise the chance is gone and know they're not getting the free kick unless they 'earn it'.

agreed, it's lose/lose. he tried to run on after the trip, but couldn't. then went down. he was still caught. same just happened with Weimann. caught in the box, stayed up/got up but lost the chance. but he was still caught.

That was a really good first half. We played some lovely stuff and should be miles ahead. Now, inevitably we can shit ourselves for the second half and pray we can score again
