We should be at least 2 up. Worrying that we aren't making our dominance count. Stoke couldn't be as bad in the second half. Need more from Benteke, he has been crap so far.
Gabby, Delph and Westwood superb. Need a second though so come on

1-0, looking good, should be more ahead, comfortable.

This is EXACTLY the type of game we always screw up.

To be fair, we screw up pretty much every type of game.

Should be 3 up here - lets hope we sustain this performance 2nd half.

Westwood got lucky there. Should have played the square ball but gave it away in a needless place.

Worried about the scoreline with the 2nd half approaching.

We need 1 before half time because it's all but garaunteed we'll make a meal of it in the 2nd half. I expect our normal capitulation. I can't see Stoke scoring more than 1 though so another goal should be enough.

What must Stoke's wage bill be like these days?  Owen, Adam and Crouch all on the bench.

Fuck off Referee. Keeper caught him.

dive

caught him. whether it was a penalty or not, his foot was clearly caught.

he shoulda shot anyway, and none of it woulda happened.

This is a big thing in football, it's all well and good to punish players for diving but of you try to stay on you r feet it's very rare for refs to give them, so you get situations like that where they try to stay up, realise the chance is gone and know they're not getting the free kick unless they 'earn it'.

Amazing to think a team containing a player as poor as Glen Whelan has managed to survive in this league.

Dive according to Radio 5

Must be true then

Not necessarily, but you'd hope it's a neutral opinion
