Sky subsribers around the globe may prefer an 8pm kick off. Isn't that the reason international games are shown at 8pm, and world cup/euro championship tournaments/finals, so the arm chair punters get what they want, to be entertained at a time that suits.
If they could at the very least make clear that a game can only be changed within X amount of days at least people would then be able to wait before making arrangements and not have to lose rail/flight fares after being proactive and booking well in advance.
Almost impossible for me to get to Monday night games because of work and 200 mile round-trip; this will be the second I've missed recently. The viagogo re-sale option simply doesn't work for matches on telly, unless I sold my season ticket for a fiver I couldn't hope to recoup the outlay. I'm seriously thinking of not renewing for first time in 25+ years. With the discounted tickets on sale per game now, there is not a sensible reason to continue beyond blind loyalty.

It's why internationals and big finals are now on Saturday afternoon. The Monday 8pm game is strictly pitched at the UK market - how often do Manchester United play it?

It's also why the likes of Barcelona want to shrink the size of the major league top divisions so that they can play Champions League matches on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon.8pm is a rubbish time to kick off if you're trying to get people in the Far East to watch. IIRC Monday Night Football was an idea Sky nicked from the US where they've had Monday Night Football for decades. I think they even had specific 'MNF' cheerleaders the first year it was shown - an Americanism that just doesn't work over here.

They also had bands performing at half-time and firework displays.

If we as fans were to start a campaign is it just the Monday night game we want rid of? I suggest the Saturday lunchtime ko is awful from atmosphere and for anyone having to travel any distance.

Playing on a Monday feels like you've missed out on the weekend's football. Plus it would be better for shift workers, most of whom have finished their working week by Friday.
