If it wasn't good enough last week why should we give him money now?I agree with Fred. I love the Wigan away trip - easy to get to, friendly locals, found a great pub (the Pear Tree) and we usually win there. But if my money wasn't good enough when it mattered then it aint good enough now. The rancid old cockstrangler can do one!

The aim has been achieved.I'm drained and need to focus on other areas of my life!I know how you feel. I punched the air when Arsenal's third went in and since then have just felt a bit underwhelmed. Being jubilant about not being relegated is very Birmingham City. I did'nt really celebrate any of Arsenal's goals, i just sat there with a contented smile on my face. It's lovely knowing we're safe. I think the Wigan game will be a celebration, not for staying up but for optimisim for the future. My thoughts exactly, I couldn't celebrate their goals because the weren't scored by Villa. It would have been a ball-ache if they won but I can go to Wigan on Sunday with a huge smile on my face and in party mode. I had faith in us to get something there if needed anyway.

Going to see if I can myself a blow up champagne bottle for Sunday
It feels so wonderful to be safe now. It's like a weight has been lifted off my chest, I'll really enjoy the build up to the weekend now. Hopefully we'll win and finish high up the table, but it's great to have it not really matter now. First game in ages we can go into with no pressure.

Going to see if I can myself a blow up champagne bottle for Sunday#smalltime. Enjoy the last game by all means but a champagne bottle is pathetic for just surviving relegation, particularly when Wigan are likely to be parading the FA Cup.Someone said there will be Petrov masks? Wouldn't surprise me if there were also shirts a la Mellberg, given the Club's desperation to get rid of the surplus.
I'm looking forward to next season as much as you are (although I was looking forward to this one and look what happened!).Villa have played well last couple of months - that's about it for me. By all means enjoy your day but waving a blow up champagne bottle and winding up Wigan (after winning the cup) is the kind of thing you'd hear from a nose

Even if there is a big banner stating your optimism the Champagne Bottle is a totally naff idea. For your own sake don't do it. Unless you like getting funny looks that is.
