Pamela Anderson and Jim Carey were originally Canadian weren't they? Though as she's been, briefly, on Dancing on Ice, suspect her finances are limited.

I think there is now a sufficient number of these rumours to justify a Villa's next billionaire thread? First it was the Venezuelans then the Qataris and now the Canadians. Will be ironic if it's Alanis Morisette.

I'm no professor of Canadian billionaires but Bodog founder Calvin Ayre would fit the profile.

Mark Carney? He's probably earned a few bob from his time at Goldman Sachs, and isn't it also a prerequisite of being a governor of the Bank of England that you have to be a Villa fan?
