I thought we could get something from the Arsenal game so its back to some reality again and yet another defeat, just hope that its not too many!

Then we pick ourselves up and go again!

Heart says we can get a draw. Head says we will be behind within the first ten minutes and lose 4-1.

RE the interview with Lambert where he praises the fans, isn't it tiresome when managers come out with lines like 'I won't roll over, I will face this head on' etc. What the fuck does that even mean? What kind of credit is he here trying to take? For not resigning, or for bothering to get out of bed in the morning? The worst he can reasonably do is send the team out and not secure points and not avoid relegation. And in this scenario there are no bonus credits available.

Managerial claptrap, as Gregory once lamented.

Anyway, slightly arbitrary rant over, 1-1 tomorrow night.

I've got a feeling it'll be like the David White show all over again. He could probably do it as well, despite being the size of a house.

We'll lose, but the other results going largely our way for a couple of weeks means we'll have gone through these two games still in touching distance of safety. Next week's is a slightly important game.

Read on man city site they are expecting Kolo Toure and that guy from eastern europe to play centre back. If that is the case, I think Benteke can bully the two of them and get us chances.

Can't see us beating them. But stranger things have happened.

Beats Lawro's musings that's for sure.

weel, all the results went for us this weekend, so we need to get at least a point, to make use of this. 3-1 win, with 2 dodgy 6 yard melees and a 30 yard beauty from someone... please

I am not a betting person but, according to Talksport:

Villa to win 11-1
Draw 100-30
Benteke to score first 7-1

Worth a flutter?

Whenever the opposition have an injury doubt against us they always make a miraculous recovery just in time. I'll be amazed if Kompany doesn't start.

I have gone for a draw. I am treating this as a 'anything would be a bonus' game, although I know I won't be as relaxed and philosophical come kick-off.

I'm not sure why but I feel strangely relaxed so far about tonight, I haven't been able to say that too many times recently.
