Last time I  checked Swansea were affiliated to the Welsh FA, and this is an English tournament.

They are in an english cup competition but yes they will be allowed in the europa league if they win as representatives of  england , uefa confirmed last week.

Welsh Clubs in English leagues can qualify for UEFA competitions by winning English trophies but not by winning Welsh ones.

This must be a change in policy. Many years ago UEFA ruled against  English teams  getting into Europe by winning the Welsh cup.

i'm watching.

Swansea win means my accumulator of Celtic, Cardiff, Man City, Swansea would come in... which would pay for a night out! Which of course would be nice!
