Well after the loss of both my parents over Christmas, I now have a tiny tear in my eye and a small smile to match.

Thankyou Aston Villa

Sincere condolences Tuscans to you and your family, it must be a tough time for you.  Stay strong.

Honestly think they have done a lot of work on the training field over the last few weeks on defending corners, and it showed today against such a dangerous team with the aerial threat that we can do it.

No matter how the game went, 3pts was all we needed. Please don't let it be another 2 months for the next 3.

Think Gabby would of been dangerous if fit today and hope N'Zogbia isnt too bad as he is a good release ball.

Well done Lambo, subs were spot on.

I was on my knees at the end of the game.
Haha, I locked myself in the kitchen away from the tv

Vintage Big Sam tactics, not offering too much but making it hard to play against them. I liked Dawkins' positive attitude. I hope he might inspire our midfield to be a bit more positive during games such as this.

I missed the last five minutes. I had an urgent appointment in the kitchen with the kettle.

When we went down in 86, we were hopeless and lost. Now, we can see very promising players with a good attitude and little experience, confused by flim flam coaching.

If we have settled on 4231, good. If each player knows his role, great. If we stop defending like a hen party, brilliant.

Really not much for any decent coach to sort out. Lambo, if you are not a decent coach, were you just drugging Colchester and Norwich players?

We won but don't be fooled...

Orly? I thought this win meant that we'd have the Prem won by the end of April?

I don't know how you've got de Gaulle to bring that up

Fucking yes. I was knackered at the final whistle and couldn't stop shaking.

About time. This, QPR, Fulham & Sunderland + couple of away points should do us (he says).

Positives & negatives, but don't care at the moment!

Not a great performance, but the lads battled well and deserved to win IMHO. Thought back four looked stronger, Clark had an excellent game, shame we conceded near the end, went to pieces after that. Thought Lambert should have changed it earlier when West Ham came out after the game, not sure Bowery will ever be a premiership player. Delph did well in the middle again, Benteke had quiet game, but great composure for penalty. Weimann had a mare, really struggled after his miss, need to boost his confidence. What was wrong with Gabby?

Dawkins showed decent energy and I thought our shape improved a lot with Bent and him on the pitch.

Westwood wasn't bad today considering he had a virus. I had one 2 weeks ago and struggled to peel an orange let alone score an o.g.
