We have the ability to play so well, to score very good goals, we turn to suicide football. We also might be the unluckiest team out there with bizarre situations, and West Ham's goal is another example. How on earth they do not know how to defend late goals, gamesmanship, time waste wasting whatever. It's still such a massive concern but we needed today because the next two games are very hard.

Great to see N'Zog get a deserved goal for all his work of late. He looks more confident and above all you could see how much the goal meant to him. Hopefully the injury isn't too serious, because he's the only spark we have in midfield.
Benteke is always a threat. It wasn't his best game by any stretch but when called upon he scored.

For me, Bent came on, and put himself about. He showed willingness to work and didn't negate Bentekes ability to get into good areas. He needs to start the next game alongside Benteke as Andy's just hitting a brick wall at the minute.
Dawkins gave a bit more balance and impetus that Bowery couldn't. It's clear though, Bowery isn't a wide man, and nor as Weimann.

Delph did pretty well. Westy okay.
Clark was fairly solid, but again, there's always an error in him. We give away such fucking stupid freekicks at times. It has to stop if we want to stay up.
3 points though. Out of the bottom 3. We've opened a healthy gap over QPR too.

Guzan, Clark, Vlaar and Delph all had fantastic games.

Westwood, Weimann and Bowery all had games to forget.

N'Zogbia and Benteke didn't have great games but still produce chances and finishes.

Also Baker and Lowton did solid if unspectacular jobs down the flanks, they really did cut out a lot of crosses even if quite a few snuck through.

Great win. Onwards and upwards.
