God ( no , not McGrath ! ) only knows how long the much maligned but now sorely needed Richard Dunne will be out and given that be we are desperate for an experienced CH , I submit the below list of Defenders currently available through free agency . One or two surprises I must say ( e.g.Drenthe ) however , maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can ' Spot the Savior ' amongst those names ...if any  !

If that Sammy Traore is the one who played for Mali last night he is big brutal and a beast in the air.   Otherwise Mensah looks an intelligent suggestion.

Played for Celtic, scored a winner against Rangers. Other than that he was shite for them.

There are a few players there who aren't that bad. Getting on a bit, but could bring us some experience and quality.
