Stating the obvious but we could really do with Chelsea and QPR wins today.  They've both got difficult games after that, so we have to beat Fulham as we won't beat Man U away.

I wouldn't object to a draw between QPR and Wigan. Definitely rooting for a Chelsea win though. Being down the bottom is murder for your principles!

We were talking about the Wigan game on the way out yesterday. A QPR win might give them a bit of momentum but keep Wigan away from us. On the other hand a point for Wigan might be vital to them at the end of the season. Arguments for both are valid really.

I'd want a QPR win I reckon. I can't see them making it. Obviously a draw isn't a bad result either, as long as Wigan lose at Citeh

Our GD still worries me. Could do with QPR and Chelsea both scoring 5 or 6!

Yes - I think Norwich may have enough points where just 6 are needed to stay up.
Newcastle I think will be ok.
There's a good chance of all the others (inc. us) getting 39 points assuming we draw with those mentioned (Norwich, Sunderland and Wigan) so GD is definitely a factor.

Qpr are 10 behind us they still have some hard games to come too, they are minimal threat to us whereas wigan are a big threat- qpr need to win today and i hope they do- qpr may catch wigan or sunderland but they won't catch us now.

Yes  Arry has to step up to the oche today.
We need..er.. sorry QPR need to score 4 or even 5 to complete a memorable week for Aston Villa...sorry QPR

That Bobby Zamora what a centre forward. Tarabtt more skill than Messi could ever dream of. Wigan wont know whats hit them!

And do you know what will be the best thing will be.

Dave will be very very upset!!

Anything but a Wigan win I think. We need to keep them behind us, what with that game in hand and superior goal difference.

The football gods will surely do the sensible thing and deliver comfortable wins for both Chelski and QPR.

Yes a QPR win would help us in more ways than one, the other one being the demise of Wigan who I don't mind, I can't say the same about their perma -'listentome' chairman.

We also need a Fulham win. They are pretty much safe on 39 points, so a win today, fucks Newcastle. It also likely puts them in a more relaxed mindset when they then visit us next weekend, ripe for the battering. As much as Sunderland and Stoke are on bad runs, Newcastle, for all of their talent can't seem to do much right recently either.

So if Man United win their next 3 games they've won the league before they play us. Hopefully they'll play a carling cup type of side against us.

Wigan are a pain in the arse, for us and everyone above us. Even if they lose today its "as you were" really as they still will have a game in hand. Sunderland are the team i'm counting on. Lets hope chelsea show up today.

Chelsea got knocked out of the top 4 by Arsenal yesterday so they have a motivation.
