Wonderful story chelts!

The stuff of dreams indeed. If we lose again tonight here's hoping he bumps into Bananaman, Clacker and Ireland tomorrow and chucks-up in their faces.

I have sobered up since! Well, occasionally...

My only football engagement coming up is a beer with the brothers Gardner.

Got a good feeling about tonight, god knows why.  A nerve-jangling 1-0 win.

As i''m feeling too shite to go, i'm debating whether to try and ignore the match until the after it's finished. Maybe watch a film instead.

For some reason the Toon Army really don't like us. It may have something to do with this:

Here's hoping we give them even more reason to hate us after tonight.

Is it not about time they got over themselves about this. Jesus. Have they not heard of banter? Do they not ever take the piss out of opposing teams? Anyone would think it was the worst thing that had ever happened to them in their history or something.

Precious is the word that comes to mind.

Back then we were the next big thing, the club to break into the top four and challenge consistently for honours. We were dynamic and confident.

Now we are in our third consecutive relegation struggle. One day our story will make a good book.
