Thanks for your company all day lads.   It helped me through a bad day.   I am off to bed now to catch up on the sleep I missed last night.   I am sorry to all concerned if that which I wrote today caused confrontation, it was not intended.

This could easily be resolved by divulging which fanzine editor/s was/were being referred to.

A lot has been read into what I said, and it appears to have hit a raw nerve. I was referring broadly to any fan with a public platform and some influence, such as the editor of a fanzine or a self-styled fans' spokesman. If somebody has decided to take it as a personal dig, then that's up to them. But when you put your work into the public domain, you should be prepared to accept criticism without resorting to abusive language. Or are some people above criticism? Personally I'd rather be objective than resort to sycophancy.

I think a few people have noticed that whenever there's any stick being handed out to Lerner, Dave Woodhall is normally one of the first to come to the defence.  I think it's a strange position for a fanzine editor to take.

Or could it be that a fanzine editor has a personal opinion?

Well, when you put a post in the public domain which can easily be misunderstood, expect some criticism.

Criticism is fine, but there's no need for the abusive language, is there?

I apologise for that, it was exasperation rather than malice.

I have no problem with you sir, just thought your ire was misguided.

Accepted, and I'd like to point out I have no problem with you or anybody else who uses this site.

It may seem that way to those that want it to seem that way.

I have always thought that DW only steps in when things need a bit of a balanced comment.  Above all, I certainly get the impression that it is club first above all of the personalities.  Very rarely does he jump on the band wagon of current feelings.

At the end of the day, every fan wants the best for the club.  Some are more realistic than others.

Not at all, you're welcome to your opinion of course.  Like I said, I just find your continued defence of them odd.

Yes I have noticed that when these pages are full of ill informed speculations and pathetic unwanted criticism of owners DW interjects with modicum of balance and correction. I hate him for being able to do that!

Unwanted criticism?  You don't think Lerner deserves the criticism coming his way?

I am talking about in general not just the current situation. Now days we gave a strange microcosm to deal with.
