Anyone see the 1 man pitch invasion at the end and him going to front 7000 Bradford fans

Nope. As soon as the final whistle went, I was out of Villa Park quicker than shit through a goose.

I've never felt this down about football before. I don't know where we go from here. I can't begin to think how I'm going to motivate myself to go to the Newcastle game next week. Why do I have to care so much? Sometimes I genuinelly wish I wasn't a football fan.

Whilst everyone is disappointed, no one died! as bad as he is, you can't blame Dowd, no decision he made stopped us from a goal scoring opportunity. It is a young team, with no experienced 'leader' who can instill some confidence on the pitch. Sacking Lambert is going to acheive nothing, you have the same 'tools' to do the same job. Learner is the problem, as it was when Martin O'neil left the club.
We had it in the bag at half time, what the hell happened? We were not the same team 2nd half.
But good luck to Bradford, they wont win the final but remember the big clubs that have gone out.
Come on the Villa boys. make us proud. Love  June Allen xxxx

Given, Vlaar, Ireland, Agbonlahor, Bent, N'Zogbia does not a young team make and not sure about 'had it in the bag' is true; we were losing at half time overall and the story was the same at full time

To be so bad at defending corners is unforgivable. There really is no excuse whatsoever and Lambert admitted as much after the game, but it's his responsibility and the same things happen every week. We are going down quicker than a £5 hooker and no one is doing a thing about it.

Well just got back to Manc.  First half OK and we looked alright if a little pedestrian and lacking in penetration.  The second half was as bad as anything I've seen produced by a Villa team and was a disgrace to our club, the Manager and players should hang their heads in shame.  I've now got serious doubts on the Lambert project as he was out thought by a lower division Manager over 2 legs, shocking.

If Lerner thinks running the club in such a way that losing to a Division 4 side is acceptable in a semi final, he needs to take a long look in the mirror.  You are the custodian Randy as you've said yourself and your approach is slowly strangling the life out of the club.

We were clueless once they scored.  The subs made no sense in terms of getting service to the forwards.  The forwards just stood there and never moved around like the long disease that have affected them in Villa shirts for many years now.

I am now VERY concerned about PL.  The decision to play Ireland in a game when you needed fight and passion makes me weep.

For the first time in all my time as a Villa fan I am totally lost as to where we go or have answers.

I'm not sure that things can be turned around, I think the rot has truly set in & neither changing the manager nor bringing in new players will turn things around.  We are well & truly fcuked.

I'm sitting here looking at my train and match tickets for Millwall. Right now I'd rather be the middle man in the human centipede than make that trip on Friday, although it will be different tomorrow. I'll probably settle for being second or third in the chain then.

Think he may have been drunk. Was waving his flag at them initially and then undid his coat to goad them by showing his villa home top.
Capped off a truly forgettable night.

Just got home. All I can say, until I have collected my thoughts, is congratulations to Bradford City. I mean that. They deserve their place in the Final.

Well just got back...from spending six hours with my missus in North Manchester General after she was admitted this afternoon with severe abdominal pains.   So to add to my store of great Villa nights will be watching the H&V match thread on my phone, the wife dozing with morphine awaiting a consultant, as we fail we beat a 4th division side over two legs.

I wish they'd given me an injection for my pain.
