Do you think the players understand PL? Listening to him pre-match and I think it's quite difficult.

Funny, saw the team and assumed it was 5-4-1? Wouldn't be a bad idea. Keep it right and try and nick one McLeish style if that what it takes.

Well yeah but I'm looking at the experienced players. The midfield is a major issue.

Agreed. Frustrating to think that signing Sissoko and Diarra would probably guarantee us staying up. £7m?

£ 3 million, we desperately need a strong centre mid more than anything.

Sorry Percy, didn't realise you meant for both.

Yeah, and I wouldn't say no to a centre-half. New TV deal sees the bottom club next season getting the same as the Champions last season. £60-odd million I think?

Somebody asked me today if Randy knows this.

Well it's a question that needs to be asked.

Players didn't seem to have any trouble with Dalglish.

Looks to me a 3 man midfield, think Clark will play in there.

I'd rather that than a 3 man defence.

That's the most frustrating thing of it all, the fact that the addition of two, maybe three, players in the right positions, who needn't cost a fortune, would improve this side beyond measure.

There is a decent amount "right" with this side but it is getting buried under youthful lack of confidence after recent results.

Either we spend the money and get in the players who will add to the side, and coax that ability out, or we're done for.

I can not believe Lerner can just sit by and watch that happen.

Perhaps he isn't, perhaps Lambert doesn't want too, that is the problem none of the fans know for sure which way it is!

I'm worried about Bennett starting, West Brom are going to be targeting us down our left flank all night.

Is anyone else starting to find themselves feeling physically sick as we approach kick off?

I don't know how many more kicks to the teeth I can take from Aston Villa.

I am feeling physically sick. Players you owe us an immense about, and it's about your professional pride you step today and win.

I honestly think if we see that happen again, Lambert is fucking nuts to let it go on happening.

Even Bradford had worked that one out, FFS.

My stomach is doing somersaults.

I think Bennett will prove to be a good signing, but right now I'd have Warnock at LB every week.

True, but don't think I was being entirely serious, but he does mumble and is Scottish. I found it difficult and had to concentrate hard on what he was trying to say.
