well hats off to all the committed/mental villa fans going to this. I was thinking of showing solidarity by sitting in my shed with a laptop and a fan blowing freezing air in my face for 90 minutes, but meh.

Soccer Saturday about to 'analyse the reasons for Villa's woes' and have just finished raving about Shaun Maloney. FFS.

Charlie Nicholas blaming Randy, saying Lambo knows he needs signings and before now in January. Merson repeating youngsters not ready and saying defeat today and Tuesday would threaten Lambert's job. Thommo baffled by lack of signings and saying relegation would be perilous. Le Tiss saying Vlaar will make a difference.

Live from outside the slope to the away end..........

I could have left it a lot later to leave the Forest. Roads were no problem and very quiet.

They're pretty much right, other than Lambert needs to take responsibility as well.

Fall over in the snow, slip on the ice, get to the shed then realise you forgot the bottle opener!

West Brom midfielder Yousouf Mulumbu, currently on Africa Cup of Nations duty with DR Congo, on Twitter: "Checking every single channel to see if I can watch our win today in this derby game!! We know what we are..."

...I think a few of us could finish off that sentence!
