If Bent is fit I'd have him in the team, Lambert needs to ditch his daft ideas and we need goals.

Yep. Bent/Benteke has to be the shout today.

Sounds good, although my fear is the defense will be letting just as many goals in at the other end.

Well yeah but that'll happen regardless of how many we score.

As Danny Baker just said, fingers crossed its called off.

I can't be doing with that defeatist attitude, we should be seeing this as an opportunity to start a recovery. They're in bad form as well.

I'd still rather get back on form by playing Bradford. Not sure away to WBA is what we want.

As for being a defeatist, it comes with being a Villa fan. They go hand in hand.

Oh and also Clark and Baker need to stop stepping out to intercept, they're not good enough at it. They constantly get turned.

It should have been called off today. There isn't cat in hell's chance of the game going ahead.

What do I know eh?

I thought the snow already fallen + the ice + the snow to come would somehow produce an outbreak of common sense. I didn't factor in the financial implications for ESPN and West Bromwich Albion, meaning we'll be asked to fork out another 39 sheets, if the match is abandoned.

That said, I may as well get dressed, obtain some beer tokens and make my way down to the social  for some pre match fun.

No. Not at the expense of Weimann anyway.

Agreed. To be honest, if anyone's going to drop out it's got to be Benteke, he looks like he really needs a rest, but not to be replaced by Bent who hasn't done anything to suggest he should be recalled.

No but at least he has a track record and frankly if a chance dropped to anyone I'd want it to be Bent.

I'd go with Bent and Weimann. Benteke has missed a few chances lately. Lets go with Bent's experience.

Agreed.  Benteke looks tired recently and Gabby just never produces so it has to be Benteke or Bent with Weimann who never looks tired.
