And to amend it slightly, in the PL era we only came close to relegation three times (never so close as we did last year) and he always took action to change things. Good signings in 1995, 2003 and selling up in 2006.

Randy is letting the slide continue. He's either broke or incompetent. Neither good.

I have seen us lose hundreds of times.   I have seen us thrashed dozens of times but today was the worst day I have ever experienced for piss taking.   I have worked the fruit and veg sales of east anglia and at twenty minute intervals all day I have had to endure some imbecile wanker telling me that Villa are crap.

This is the football club my father's brother said was on the lips of Birmingham lads when they went over the top in Flanders.

A club we now have to be told "to get behind" by the public address system when they take the field and whose supporters have to be drowned out at the final whistle by information about match programmes.   What has become of us?
