Swansea win 2-0 at Chelsea , what an incentive now - silverware and Europe tantalisingly close!

Yep, if the players can't get themselves up for Leg 2 then nothing will ever get them up .

Wasn't a place in the final incentive enough before then? Knowing our bunch of slackers, probably not.

Although Bradford have 3 goals and we have 1, that's still a long way to go at this stage of the tie.

Do you want to be against us?

I wonder if every media outlet will talk like Chelsea are already out & Swansea are already on their way to Wembley tomorrow?

My heart says we will smash them; my head, based on last night's showing and current form tells me something different.

I am confident we'll win the second leg but not sure it'll be by enough to take us through

I think we'll win the second leg but I don't think we'll do enough to go through.  Just don't have any confidence in this team any more.

I still believe this 110%

Yes. And we'll win the final.

If we could get a goal in the first 10 mins or so it could put the shits up them and anything will be possible. If we fuck about for 20mins + missing chances like last night they will gain confidence and it could turn out to be another frustrating evening. As always, it will come down to taking chances because I have no doubt we will create enough to make it to the final.

It makes Lamberts decision to go all out attack last night even more baffling... Swansea played it bang on tonight.

We can still do it and if we do it will be a classic, I just can't see it with our midfield.

Should have shut up at 2-1 and taken it on the chin. The game was too open and we were all over the place, chasing an equaliser cost us.

I'm tempted to say glorious failure, this reminds me a bit of the Bolton semi when we were inept in the first leg and left too much to do for the second leg and just fell short.

Mind you I'm not sure you can call it a glorious failure when you're getting knocked out by a league two team.

I still think we have a chance tbh. Depends how Bradford play it. I imagine they'll sit back so surely we'll be on the front foot and will have most of the possession and chances in the first half. If we can go 1-0 up at half time Villa Park will be believing again.

Have have seen nothing to indicate this team or manager have any fight in them when things go against them. Sorry, I want to believe but I havent seen it.

I give them credit for getting us this far in the cup, but since Chelsea destroyed us we have had a defeatist attitude and I have no belief that will change any time soon.

Sorry :(

I think we're a shoe in for Wembley.
