4-1 villa win to paper over the cracks.
4-1 villa win to paper over the cracks.

But it would get us to a Cup Final which could give the club a lift. That's another way of looking at it.

Just seen Swansea are winning at chelski which would make it more interesting - the prospect of Swansea at Wembley would be mouth watering - Chelsea not so!

Chelsea played them off the pitch then Ivanovic made an error and Micho scored a very well taken goal. Swansea playing well in the second half.

Whatever happens in the second leg, I doubt it could ever, ever turn out as depressing as the second leg at Oxford in 1984.

Can't remember many more depressing football-related experiences, if any, in fact.

Sorry, yes. Everton was 84, wasn't it. Another depressing one.

Although not confident, probably yes and in a bit of drab game with a fifteen minute flury. 4-1 is about right.

We won't keep a clean sheet in the home leg.

Somehow we scored 4 against Citeh and Norwich and 3 against Swindon.

It's going to be an interesting game that's for sure.

Was that when Kevin Richardson handballed it on the line and got away with it?

I just want to see the bastards have a f*cking good go. They'd better be on it from minute one.
