Good grief this is amazing, when have we ever been any good at breaking down teams who come to defend... just dream on lads!

The first goal will be key in the 2nd leg, I think bradford will play a tight game and try and hold onto what they have , if I was a betting man I'd say villa will go through to Wembley but last night underlined the fact of how poor we are , and a Wembley trip will only paper over the cracks - we are in trouble .

We need to win by two clear goals, possibly three. With the current defense thats going to be difficult.

I have genuine concerns about being hit on the break. I absolutely think we can score at least twice against Bradford at home, but I do think we'll be exposed at the back to the counter.

And how sad is that? that is the state we're in. We're worried about being hit on the break by Bradford, and I completely agree by the way.

TalkSport saying the bookies still have us as favourites to go through.

My own prediction of what will happen is a 1-1 draw.   We will be as nervous as kittens and get a late goal.   We will then throw everything at them in the closing minutes to get a second and they will hit us on the break in the 93rd minute.   I wish I could see it some other way but I can't.   I would not be in the least surprised to see us pick up a red card at some point.

Think we'll win 2-1 and go out.

We just don't score enough goals and are all but guaranteed to concede. Just can't see it coming off,

Can any new signings we make play in the return leg? Or do they have to be registered before the first match?

I think we'll batter Bradford at home. Villa Park will be rocking like it was against Tranmere in 1994. Bradford won't know what time of day it is.
Then we can start thinking about being humiliated in the Final.

Agreed here, it should be an immense atmosphere and there will only be a sprinkling of players on the pitch who will have played in that sort of game. Hopefully that won't be a hindrance to our youngsters as well!

I think last night is all par for the course now other than for followers of clubs owned by oligarchs.
