Utter, utter shit.

You could see Bradford's gameplan as soon as they scored.

But it's fucking stupid playing long balls against a team who come across that style of play in their league pretty much every week.

N'Zogbia also needs to learn how to pass.

I must say Bennett's performance was one of the worst I've seen in a villa shirt, and I like to think I'm not as prone to the hyperbole of some others!!

I didn't think Delph was as horrific as some said. But you do have to worry when Clark and Bennett are being repeatedly skinned by a player in the fourth division. Bennett barely stopped a cross all game.

There is always the risk of knee jerk reactions after shit results. However, when you suffer a series of shit results surely it stops becoming a knee jerk reaction and more a statement that some kind of action is required.

If Lambert can't see the following then he must have shit in his eyes.

1. That isn't a back four... it's a fucking catastrophe

2. Benteke although a beast is an abysmal defender, leave him on the half way line.. they might leave a centre back with him one less for 1 above to fuck up against!

3. Midfield an abomination, i can't put into words how I feel about them, but there isn't much complimentary.

I'll give some credit to N'Zogbia tonight though, it's the 1st time i've seen him look mildly interesting in playing for us.

10 out of 10 to Bradford, they spotted early on we can't defend crosses and they made us pay. We deserved what we got.

Very upset and hurt after that, so trying my best not to overeact, but tonight is a watershed for me.  It is painfully clear that a number of the players just aren't good enough and some of those that do have the ability just have no desire at all.  The fact that we had just got back into the game at 2-1 and then Benteke just allows his man a free header off a set piece sums it up for me.

CNZ - absolute wanker.  Thinks he's Messi when I reckon I've played against better players on a Sunday morning.  PASS THE FUCKING BALL YOU GREEDY TWAT!  The quicker he's got rid of the better.

I hope I never see him in a Villa shirt again. A complete and utter twat!

Delph contributes nothing in midfield other than a succession of rash challenges.

We've become the laughing stock of the football league. It's an absolute disgrace. I don't know where to start to be honest, we aren't good enough at board level, managerial level or playing level. The whole lot can just f*ck off tomorrow as far as I'm concerned.

As a side note the players didn't even applaud the 4,600 Villa fans there tonight at the end of the game. Wankers.

Have to agree with you, I don't know who to blame or rage at, a lot of people have come and gone over the last few years at Villa but the one constant is Lerner, I'm starting to realise Lerner is not the best owner and I'm starting to lose patience with him....
Lambert was not my first choice as manager but I backed his appointment, but saying that I'm starting to question his leadership..

I'm not worried about whether we'll get relegated anymore, I'm wondering how far we cound drop through the leagues with randy in charge.

Are there any among us who really think we can turn this around in the second leg? Other than being handed a huge slice of luck, and another huge slice of luck, we've got no chance. And I base this on our consistent inability to defend and / or convincingly win football matches these last three years.

FFS why do I care so much when to all extent and purposes the players and the manager don't appear to?

Can anyone remember a poorer back 4 than we have now? Not one of one players is fit for Aston Villa's team. If we continue with this defence we WILL go down (in my opinion).
Lerner is dragging us down. It's time the fans told him what we think.

The players are poor, no doubt, but they don't appear even remotely organised, either. They're all over the place, all over the pitch. That's a coaching issue, and that's Lambert's responsibility. They're not improving in any way I can see, and in fact are getting markedly worse. That's Lambert's responsibility, too.

I don't think he's a very good manager.
Bang on the money.
At the very least we should be organised to,play like a team.
We are a disorganised, ill disciplined footballing rabble.

We've now conceded 8,4,3,2,1,3 in consecutive games. I think the defensive horror show was in part down to the lack of protection from midfield, which I think was a tactical mistake. But even so, it was individually shocking.

What happened tonight is that everything that went wrong for us did, everything that went right for them did... along with horrendous defending from set pieces. Not that I'll kneejerk like the usual people, we actually were the better team. We were on top for most of the game and I have no idea how they kept making save after save not letting us score. They did not look threatening really, apart from the goals they hit the bar that's it. We did not play badly, just poor defending yet again cost us.

I still think we can overturn a 2 goal deficit, however the pressure will be on which might  make it tougher... what I'm even more worried about now is the game on Saturday - what will a defeat tonight do to our confidence? It's a massive game.
