Our defence and midfield is the worst I think I've seen.

it is all so fragile, that's the problem. The midfield can look OK when they've a bit of confidence, but their heads go down too easily.

Really, 2-1 tonight would have been OK, all we had to do was hold out against a league two side for seven fucking minutes. And were any of us really surprised when they got their third? Really?

Away goals count right? 2-0 would see us through on away goals?

After extra time, yes.

We'd do well to get nil.

Apart from the lack of fight, what really concerns me is the complete lack of idea of what to do. We made no attempt at all to play the ball about like a top team and just hoofed it up to Benteke. Heart breaking to watch this drivel.
It's difficult to believe that I can feel even worse than last season. Then we were crap, now we are also embarrassing too.

Bennett should not play for Villa again. He is not good enough for our club.

Clark is absolutely the worst captain I've seen as well. Since he became captain we have imploded.

We've got bigger things to worry about than this.

We're fucked. Lambert has obviously spent very poorly in the Summer. We need more of Lerner's money in January otherwise we're going down.

Exactly.  I couldn't give two hoots about getting to Wembley for a game which we're probably going to lose anyway (though showing a bit of pride against a fourth division team would be nice).

We've got three weeks to sort this mess out, or we're in trouble.

Absolutely laughable.

From the moment I saw the team sheet I knew we'd lost. A two man midfield ???, THOSE TWO and some attackers filling in the gaps where they aren't suited .. BARMY!

It's as bad, if not worse than it's ever been. Half the team aren't good enough, the other half would be lucky to be on the bench and if anyone can convince me Lambert has any tactical nous than have a go.

We are bloody terrible, this isn't even Wigan ... it's BRADFORD. And fair play to them.

The only smile i've had this evening is thinking about those idiots that were booking their Wembley hotels as soon as the semi final draw was made.

Given : poor
Lowton : poor
Baker : poor
Clark : poor
Bennett : poor
Delph : poor
Bannan : poor
Gabby : poor
N'zogbia : slightly better than poor
Benteke : poor
Weimann : completely anonymous until popping up with the goal

He might be good enough in the future, but he's nowhere near up to it yet.

Our back four and midfield are outmuscled by pretty much everyone we play. And that's the second time Benteke has not competed at a corner and it has cost us a goal.

A complete defensive shambles - the worst I've seen in nearly 30 years.

Tranmere Rovers 1994 please.

The difference between then and now is that we had a good team back then. This time we are simply appalling.
