You can see the ground when they play the theme tune to East Enders. Just to the left of the railway junction below the loop in the river at the Isle of Dogs.

Bloody hell Jon. I thought I was the only sad git who'd spotted that!. You can see Charlton just below the Thames barrier to the left, Olympic stadium north of the river and West Ham across to the right of that. Haven't been quick enough to spot Orient yet but i'm working on it!

Also visible to your left as you pull into London Bridge station from the south. It's less south east London than inner city. A bit like calling Villa north Birmingham.

There may be some on here who remember playing them in the 70's, believe me they will remember us.
For all the tales about visits to Cold Blow Lane (and mostly true) what about when they came up here?
Was it the League Cup Quarter Final we beat then 2-0 and then ran them ragged round Witton and Aston in their stupid white caps...

Apparently we've got 2,000 tickets. Police stopped us taking the lower tier. £20 adults.

Don't blame me if this info is wrong, just passing on what I heard.

Correct - League Cup Q/F in December 1976. A few frank exchanges of opinion were made after the final whistle.

Spot on luton. Only problem is some of their older lads still believe it! Same as many I don't think there will be much trouble as the Police down there are used to this - they manage Leeds/Blues etc visiting.

I to have tales of "bumping into" Millwall but it is all myth-mongering and not for this thead.

Its not the older lads its the rowdy kids in the dockers who give it large. Their elders hate the younger lot. The only trouble they have had all season is with Charlton and Leeds and thats because South Bermondsay station was closed

I was told it was going to be closed for us as well, had a quick look but couldn't see anything about it.

And in both occasions, Leeds and Charlton tried to kick off
