I was thinking it was at Brum, oh well (d'oh).

Nott's is similarly rained off until at least lunch time, so maybe the weather is worse up there.

Nott's all out for 406 against Somerset. I make them a point ahead (after bonus points) of Somerset at the moment, with Somerset still to bat for the first time.

Of course they're both safe unless Derbyshire beat us.

Sussex all out for 328, so unless they fail to win (they have a lead of 164 runs), then we can't finish above them.

Warwickshire 325/8, Derbyshire only got 2 bowling points.

Woakes and Chambers have both scored their highest First Class scores.

Chambers' first ever 50* and Woakes 141* (previous best 136*).

Also 150+ partnership now, for the 9th wicket!!

Chambers out for 58, with Woakes 2 away from 150. If I was him I'd be trying to get them quickly, as Boyd Rankin is his batting partner!

Woakes 152 not out, Bears declare at 391/9.

Somerset already 14/2 off 11 overs. So Nott's should be safe you would think, regardless of whether Derbyshire turn our game around.

Keep saying it, I think Woakes will end up being a better batsman than he is bowler. In the opposite way to Flintoff, who started out being a batsman who could bowl a bit and ended up being much better at bowling.

Derbyshire 5/2, although Chanderpaul has just come to the crease.

That's been my thoughts on Woakes for a while, he seems to have the mental strength to be a good middle order batsman.

I was at Edgbaston for all 4 days of the last home game against Surrey, and he was not at all happy bowling. He seems to have increased his pace at the expense of movement from the seam, but that was a thankless wicket on which to bowl.

If we can get Shiv Chanderpaul out cheaply then we're in with a good shout. It's a big ask though!

33/5, Barker's 3rd wicket. Chanderpaul still there though. Can see them being all out for 100 and Chanderpaul will be 50 not out....

Durham - Sussex game has lost a lot of play today due to bad light, maybe there could be a draw in that game after all. Still think Sussex are big favourites to win it though.

82-5 (35)
Chanderpaul 52 (97) 10 x 4's four of them in last over off Barker.
Poynton 12

Rankin just come on for his first bowl of the match, got Poynton dancing all over the place with his first 3 balls

Durham have lost a couple of wkts this morning 35-2 still 129 runs behind. So Sussex well on top unfortunately.
