Durham have won the title 69-2 17 overs.

The sun is shining over here now so hopefully play will get underway at 15:00.......not a cloud in the sky at present.

Gary Wilson a wicket keeper has opened the bowling for Surrey....f--ing joke!!!

See who opens up at the other end.....declaration bowling or what!!!
6-0 off first over
Rory Burns bowling at other end another keeper by trade. Neither of these are supposed to be keeping in this game that is Davies.

Both Tremlett & Linley are fielding - now 8-0

Durham apparently haven't claimed the extra half hour....got 1 over tonight from which they scored 7.
62 required tomorrow.
Thought that the Durham marketing department wanted to sell tickets for tomorrow!!!!

I hope it pisses down for 2 days then money grabbing arseholes....if it's true!!!!

It was free to get in today, to be fair to them.

Chopra 1000 Championship runs for the season now - 14-0 in 3rd over.

Are we gonna declare on say 50 and them forfeit their 2nd innings and try and bowl us out.

If Surrey forfeit all their bowling points we will need 1 point out of Derby game to ensure safety.

Injury jinx has struck again Atkinson has injured a finger and will not keep wkt in 2nd innings. Porrerfield will keep.

43 overs to be bowled in day

Chopra 1000 Championship runs for the season now - 14-0 in 3rd over.

Remember when the big target was 1,000 runs by the end of May?

Amla replacing Burns in the attack
80-0 13 overs
320 behing.

Bears hold all the cards here but i can't work out what is happening. Surrey must win so i suppose Chopra has said we want 'X' or we don't play ball in a set up run chase.
If Surrey do 'Y' then i suppose we shut up shop. 82-0 14 overs so 29 left today, do we declare tonight and Surrey bat some tonight. Burns back on up Pavilion end.

91-0 17 overs
Chopra 50 (60)
Westwood 32(43)

The searing pace of Burns has broken Chopra's back
95-0 17.1

Right if Bears score 200 that gives us a batting point without conceding a bowling point add that to our bowling point gives us 149.
Even if we lose this game Surrey can only total 148 we play Derby next if they won and we were pointless Derby can only get 144 therefore we are safe!!!!

Oh well that's fcuked my thoughts Bears have declared 120 - 0 - having tea now. Chopra 69, Westwood 42
Lets see what Surrey do now!

Right it is now saying that Surrey have forfeited their 2nd innings so Bears require 281 to win.

That is very generous as nearly 120 overs left in the match. Decent forecast tomorrow. As i said earlier Chopra holds all the cards. Pressure on Surrey to bowl us out. Wont be a draw now.

Only working till noon tomorrow i can see a last visit of the season beckoning, but remember we may only have 10 batsmen if Atkinson can't bat!!!
