Since Tea Bears have batted quite well moving on to 232-8 BUT, there's always a but with Bears, McKay has just gone down in a heap turned his left ankle, a runner is being allowed but is McKay going to be able to keep wicket.
232-8
Patel 27
McKay 17
Physio left the pitch now and McKay hobbling awfully, just awaiting the runner to come out.

Have to say I'd rather Durham won the title than Yorkshire (Sorry Chris Jameson).

Would also like Derbyshire to stay up as well, so long as we don't go down in their place.

Bears seem to be knocking it around well now, McKay already has easily his highest score for us.

This is actually McKay's championship debut - although injured is battling on.
246-8
Patel 39
McKay 20
On a footnote our young batsman,Freddie Coleman, opened the batting for Scotland against Australia today and he got a 3rd ball duck LBW to Mitchell Johnson.

Superb stuff from a very depleted side ravaged by injuries and England/Ireland call-ups. Chambers looks a good prospect. Apparently he's interested in a longer deal with the Bears having been released by Essex. Can he do a Chris Wright? Also, Graeme Welch was the bowling coach at Essex when both Wright and Chambers were there as well.

A couple of early wickets today and we could be on the way to victory.

Not a lot happening so far this morning, Samit Patel and Mullaney settling in quite well unfortunately score has moved onto :
44-3
Mullaney 12
Patel 20
A problem though Barker has been warned (again) for running on the pitch. This is the 3rd game in a row had a warning when in the first of these he was actually taken out of the attack.
A young Jamie Atkinson from Dorridge CC from Birmingham League is keeping wicket for the injured Pete McKay.
First change of the morning Woakes replacing Chambers.
I wrote yesterday that the replacement keeper was a Hong Kong International i erred there it is in fact Jamie Atkinson today's keeper and in his young life has set his own piece of history. He has 2 official ODI caps for Hong Kong and he was the first player born in the 1990's to play in an official ODI when at the age of 17 v Pakistan in the 2008 Asia Cup.
Notts now moved on to 57-3 17 overs gone. The last shot by Patel going to boundary between slip and gully.

Stef Piolet's wicket this morning is his first championship wicket since having Johnny Bairstow LBW 5th July 2010, i think that was also his last championship game.
129-4 now Hussey seems well up for it 6 x 4's in 27
