It is a long session for the bowlers now though. Went off for rain and took tea whilst off - the last session to be 44 overs.....99/4 now

Gary Ballance the thorn in our side again. He's probably behind only Taylor as next England cab of the rank

Chopra brings Woakes back into the attack and with his 2nd ball:
Ballance b Woakes 45

Now 121/6 a lead of 114 and still 25.4 overs left in the day

Still off at Headingley but Derbyshire have done us a favour by beating Sussex by 9 wickets chasing 174 for the loss of only one wkt.

Abandoned play for the day so 148/7 close of play.

Not a bad day, how is the weather looking for tomorrow?

98% chance of rain according to my weather app. And it's going to rain solidly throughout the day, rather than in just one cluster. I'll be surprised if we get an over in, let alone enough time to take three wickets and get 200 or so runs.

Chucked it down in Harrogate all night and still raining so I'm guessing Yorkshire aren't going to have the opportunity to bowl Warwickshire out today.

Been raining here since 8 a.m. at least. It does seem to be easing off though, skies are getting a bit lighter. From past experience the weather here reaches Headingley in about 20 minutes.

Could be a frustrating day.

Yorkshire now lead by 171 runs with 2 wickets left.

Think if I was them I'd declare, hardly any chance we'll get those runs and they just might be able to bowl us out in these conditions.

Only 3 points for a draw anyway (unless we tie).
