Would be a shock if Notts could get more than 350 in the last innings I think.

At tea the lead is 314 with 4 sessions of the match left. Both sides have scored very slowly throughout the game so I reckon we should throw the bat for another 90 minutes to get the lead up to the 400 mark and have half an hour at them tonight with the ball.

Of course the pitch may prevent this!

Woakes and Clarke are throwing the bat, they've added 42 in 7 overs which must be the fastest scoring in the game so far.

Lead is 363.

God they're being defensive, must be deadly dull to watch. All of their batsmen have strike rates in the twenties.

Possibly a mistake not to make them follow-on? although I can fully understand that our bowlers would be a bit drained after Notts 1st innings in that heat yesterday. Anyway, time for Jeets to weave his magic spin this afternoon!
