Anyone going to the baseball next Saturday against Northants?
The missus fancies it for some reason, and it's apparently still going to be summer so why not.

Going Wycombe, otherwise I
would. Considering the Bears v Pears baseball game on Friday 26th if the weather's still alright, if you fancy it?

Been to Wycombe before, it's okay, would have gone but I'm going to a party on the evening and wouldn't have got back in time.

Might do the BvP game though.

Chris Wright out for the rest of the season with a stress fracture of the back:

Ouch my back hurts

I hope the rest of the attack stays fit or we will be in for a tough run-in.

I'm back in Birmingham for a week soon and will be around on the 26th so I might try to catch that one.

It's been on 5live Sports Xtra.
The two chaps on there are a bit dour but entertaining enough. This afternoon they spent ten minutes discussing whether Radio WM or Cov & Warks would ask them to report first. They sort of forgot the cricket.

377-6. Good to see the batting from last season again. just when we're in a spot of bother a good lower order stand puts us back in charge. Tehn teh bowlers let rip. Pity about Wright because was a huge part of our success last season. Hopefully the others can all step up to the crease.

Impressed with Laurie Evans: 165 not out, Ateeq Javid looks to be a good prospect and could develop into a good all rounder with his spin bowling: 182 stand so far for the 7th wicket. Need to wear out Notts in the field. Our bowlers will be fresh! Come on you Bears!!!

18 from one Hussey over also. its not as if barker can't bat either. keep going Warwciks and get up to 500/600.

Clearly we'll be all out for 430 now.

Rankin in at one end, so Barker may as well have a bit of a bash around.
