I bet England will be tempted to throw in Woakes for the NZ tests now, can't believe he's batting at 8, topped the batting averages last year and showing it again now, and it's not as if batting is the strongest aspect of his game. I can see Wright being brought in at some point too seeing as he's looking more dangerous than Broad has at any point in the last 6 months

Great win but I really do worry about our top order at times. I really would have loved it if we had got Ponting.

I think Punter would of been a great signing.

No, I would have had to start liking the rat-faced Aussie twunt.

You can make a case for not tinkering too much in the Championship, bearing in mind we are Champions, and finished second the year before.

I'd like to have brought in some foreign superstar batsman for the Twenty20 BishBashBosh Cup though as I feel we've underachieved in that lately.

I think Gayle might make a decent addition for the baseball...

Incidentally, the Bears' County Championship match at Somerset, commencing on Thursday, is live on Sky.

Annoying that neither Trott nor Bell are allowed to play but Compton is. Racists.

Somerset 133-3 , not bad for warwicks considering they were 108-0 and both openers are now out .

This partnership appears to be taking the game away from us already.
