Djokovic is playing unbelievable to survive here, come on Murray.
However it was a 3-0 thrashing.
It was an excellent 3-0 win, to say it was a thrashing is to give Djokovic no credit for his display.
You can give Djokovic as much credit as you want however Murray thrashed him. Straight sets and no tie breaks in a major final is comprehensive.

That wasn't a three set thrashing, though.   Murray had to work really hard and earn every single point.  In fact, he came back from 4-2 down in both the second and third sets.   A three set thrashing would have been something like 6-2, 6-3, 6-1.

Exactly.

Every set was close and Murray got the key points - certainly no thrashing but an extremely hard fought match which Murray deserved to win against a very good player .

No don't agree and the fact that Djokovic allowed  Murray to win a game from 4-2 up  just confirms he got thrashed.

I thought the BBC documentary showed the guy in a good light. I liked the Alex Ferguson and Sean Connery bit too. We have some strong Scottish links with our club too. I didn't realise the significance of the lion on our badge until a tour round VP last week.

Just noticed there's a Brummie in Round Two of the US Open.

Anyone know if he's one of us, or a Heathen?

From Hall Green according to Wiki, short for a tennis player. Doesn't say whether he is Villa or Blose though.

Wiki's not short for a tennis player. It's an abbreviated form of "Wikipedia".
