fans of a football club dont criticise every decision made  they look for hope when there is none. Having been off this site over crimbo some of the abuse Lambert and Lerner have taken is shocking. You Fletch and your pal from IOM do nothing to support the club. Hardman? is that an invitation to the Bartons? if so see you against Ipswich. The negativity you spout is shocking.
Look Hippo, I spend plenty of hard earned money following Villa, so I don't know where you get 'you do nothing to support the club.'
As I said in the previous post, I'll write what I think and you'll put up with it.

Time for all supporters to back this team to the hilt, the more noise from the stands will give this team more encouragement. Sure, they look brutal at times...but now is the time to back them...Remember Cold Blow Lane in the '80's, that Millwall team had No Fear and produced a couple of handy footballers along the way..though i know we bought a genuine dud from them. The Holte must be a place of fear, just like the Demolition Derby Day.

Apologies to those concerned. We as a club need support at this time not negativity about sacking the manager though. baggies have done that 8 minute thing since chelsea its a direct piss take about our 19th minute applause.

...

They can talk about 'playing the right way' as much as they want but I was surprised by how petulant Swansea were at times.

I thought they got more and more frustrated at the way we shut them out in the second half. Not just the petulance, but the degree to which they gave up on the passing game and increasingly played long balls into the box, which in turn made it even easier for us to defend.

For what we needed, I thought it was a very good performance in the second 45.

We're not going to beat Swansea three times in a season. Two will have to do it.

4 4 2 two banks of four a lot more solid lookin Mr Lambert, simple

Except we could have been 4-0 down after 20 minutes. Not so simple in my view

That's down to the confidence in the team IMO, after they had ridden the storm 442 looked loads more solid, not to mention its the system all these kids are used to

Let them carry on, it's so pathetic that it's not even worth getting worked up about, let alone responding to.

Ignore them - that'll wind them up even more.

Blimey what a choice for our first away game!

They should have had 3 in the first 15 mins but somehow we weathered the storm (maybe practice does make perfect, god knows weve had enough in the last few games ;-) ) then Chris finally found some space to turn and his developing understanding with Andi allowed him to pick the right pass which led to a solid finish.

Half time i'd have taken the point but we looked much better in the second half and continued to create chanes. The penalty resulted from a corner with Chris scoring in front of the away fans from the spot.

Not sure where 5 mins came from (who decides btw?) and maybe we should have held on but its still a valuable point.

Final note, thanks to the 6 players, guzan and the manager who came and thanked the supporters and f*** off bannan you arrogant little sh*t. Ignored us during his warm up and walked off at the end even though PL told him and pointed. We've supported them loyally over a difficult period and this is how he thanks us.

Premiership is the priority, rest them all for the Ipswich game.
FA cup is the priority ion the next game. There are 17 more league games left to sort ourselves there is only 1 FA cup game.

Direct your ire at those deserving it. The Stripey Filth stood up and applauded on 8 minutes, the small time, Coventry, wankers. c***s like them deserve our anger.

I'm assuming because Swansea went in front? They must be a right sad bunch of twats.

No - they now clap on 8 minutes to celebrate the 8 goals Chelsea put past us. Small time doesn't even begin to describe them

Fuck me. I don't know where to begin with that.

Mentioned this in the "is the Baggies still a big game" thread. They were organising it for the game on 19th. Very poor considering the origins of the idea of the 19th minute applause (of which they are totally aware).

It's a 4-4-2 without the ball and more of a 4-2-3-1 with. The important thing is that Benteke and Weimann have such a great understanding between the two of them - one will run beyond and the other will give the midfield more options and help. This ain't the Mike Bassett-esque 4-4-2 of MON, where the midfield two would constantly look isolated and outnumbered - at least one of the forwards (usually Weimann) is always closer to the midfield two to make it a three. It works nicely - we just need to get a better N'Zogbia/Albrighton type and stop - fecking - conceding!

Wind what in?
The answer I gave was not abusive and perfectly acceptable.
Do you expect me not to react when I'm told I do 'nothing to support the club?'
