Okay so we could have won, but that draw, the second half performance and the glimmer of some self-belief at last will be massive.
A couple of astute signings and we'll be okay.

Well, the second half showed that with some discipline and organisation at the back they can compete with a decent footalling opposition.
Unlucky not to win but with the other results today, a point ain't bad.

Honourable mentions to Lowton, Weimann and Benteke.
CC, Herd and Delph improved beyond belief after half time.

Albrighton was unremitingly bad.

Villa did not deserve the dropped two points, but they may be crucial at the end of the season...

So sickening to concede so late but we got a good draw and have something to build on.

For a few minutes the table didn't look too bad.

Get the chequebook out Randy and we will be grand.

A decent result but another abject performance, particularly first half.  Swansea should have been out of sight by half time.

Hopefully stopped the rot.  Bennett worries me awfully.

Michu needs shooting - a super player but a dirty bugger.

What a massive kick in the stones, but as gutted as we all are with the way it ended up, we'd have taken a point at the start of the day. After a first half of mainly chasing shadows, we were much more steady and disciplined.

The players will be really upset about the result, but it will be better on reflection than what they've dealt with in the last few games.

A cruel and typical Villa ending, but we should really have lost that game by a fair margin. Happy with the point, and the spirit shown in the second half. We're still an awful, awful football team.

Gutted at the end but a draw is best we deserved.

Big worry for me about how badly injured Westwood is.

Good point considering our back line at the moment. Get some players back fit, maybe a couple of signings in the next 2 weeks and things might start to improve a bit. 1 half fit centre half and no holding midfield at the end of the game is going to make things difficult.

So close,  but there were signs of improvement there

I'm not sure on that, we got absolutely hammered in first half and weren't great in second. It's a good point, but it's also two points lost given when they scored.
