It isn't a new manager we need, it is a realisation that kids and lower league players alone are nothing like enough.

So tell that to Lambert, he's the man that buys the players.

I don't want the manager to resign, I want him to recognise his errors and address it very quickly.

This thread deserves a cliche warning.

It's a cliche because it's true.

Some of it ... a lot of it is hysterically delivered received wisdom.

wouldn't it be nice to win 4-3..to completely turn it around, a miracle win which you see every so often happen to another team. Just once, Villa, could you do this?

I have always fallen into the positive camp, but how the hell do you expect us to react to another drubbing?

It doesn't matter how good a manager you are if you have to shop from the bargain bin.

He also has to work with the wage bill, hence all his signings being either lower league or selling European league, which means low (comparatively) wages.

LOL back in the bottom 3.

we need to buy good experience in J anuary, you can't expect such a young and inexperienced team to get better without the help of older players to guide them in the right direction.

this is beyond belief what is happening. I actually thought we would win today.

these 3 games have been the real wake up call now. you can't get any lower than losing 3-0 at home.

We even get destroyed by Wigan at home. We are in serious trouble unless we bring in some proven premier League quality next month. I'm getting very worried now.
