Jesus Christ.

Unless randy digs deep, I don't think even he could help us.

Lerner has to put his hand in his pocket, and he has to add to the wage bill, because more of the same is not going to change anything at all.
The wages is the key thing.  Yes we spent £20M on players but we got half a dozen for that money so you can bet they're not earning fortunes.  And as we all know your finishing position correlates more to your wage bill than your transfer spend.

It isn't a new manager we need, it is a realisation that kids and lower league players alone are nothing like enough.

Lerner has to put his hand in his pocket, and he has to add to the wage bill, because more of the same is not going to change anything at all.

That'd be it, but the manager needs to realise that as well.

How on earth have we ended up here?
Randy let MoN spunk all the money then MoN fucked off.  Randy then showed us his football knowledge by employing shit managers who between them ran the club into the ground, allowing the squad to end up paper thin and short of quality.
We now have a decent manager who has fuck all to work with, a squad that would not get promoted from the division below us.
Randy needs to take ownership of the situation and spend big in january or if you think things look bad now wait till May...

I have been behind PL but I am having serious doubts now.  This is quite incredible.

It isn't incredible, it is entirely predictable.

Look at the squad. A few injuries and it falls so far short of acceptable, it is laughable.

Run down the squad, invest only in lower league dross with the hope it comes good, and you end up with a squad this piss poor.

Terrible stewardship from Lerner to reduce such huge investment to this in so short a spell of time.

Still, at least the wage bill looks a bit better.

Im not even joking but Lerner has to take some of his billions from the Browns sale and give Lambert at least 50 million to buy 4 defenders and 4 midfielders....im serious

8 players for 50 million? We'll end up with more relegation fodder.
I missed a nought....500 million

Can't believe those calling for Lambert to resign - we've 10 players out injured. Get a grip!
I think they are pissed of that he doesn't change the formation when it doesn't work.

even if it is not accepted, PL has to at least offer his resignation after this

And who would we get?
Someone better I think would be the plan.  Although with Lerner and Faulkner doing the looking, it might not be what we ended up with.

I dont want him to go, I think PL is the answer for the future and his resignation offer should be refused, but at least he should offer it,  16 goals without reply (if you start with Gerards goal) is shocking by anyones standard

Precisely. It really is spend or bust. The experiment has failed in spectacular fashion. If it ain't fixed over the next month then it's bye bye top flight.
