We need buys this Jan or we are down. Playing so many unproven youngsters in this league is crazy.

Lambert had better have some fantastic plans for January, or it's time for him to fuck off.
I don't think you can blame him.  The club has been mismanaged for years.  Give him time and money to sort it out....

All Phil Dowd's fault clearly he told are players (Sunday) they were going to lose no matter what. Everything seems to stem from that, head's ain't gone be high after 8-0 thumping 72 hours later!  7 Senior players injured with no competition for Benteke who has been poor and needs dropping but for who? Jordan Graham?

we've managed to become relegation fodder in less than 3 years.

Pal we HAVE been relegation fodder since August 2010. And it don't look like the owners are too concerned.

Too many kids, too many of whom are not good enough.
Too many lower leagues, low wages players.
Not enough experience.

The natural reaction is to vent at the manager, but really, this is just another symptom of the dreadful management of the club by Lerner and Faulkner,.

I can't even look at the teams around us and take comfort from the fact that we've a stronger squad, better players than them, because we haven't.

I totally understand what Lambert is trying to do, and I like it when it works, but the fact of the matter is, we have nowhere near sufficient quality in the side.

Some - Bennett, Herd, Delph - are quite clearly nothing like good enough. Some - KEA, Ireland - are probably good enough but don't show anything like enough desire to prove they are.

Lerner needs to take a look at where we are and reflect on how his stewardship of the club has gone the last few years.

Don't think the manager has much of a choice.

Delph, Ireland and KEA should never wear the shirt again.  Lerner we need £30m next week.

I can't recall such a shift over such a short space of time, since the Liverpool game. The Wigan game is so crucial now, as they're one of only about 4 sides I can really see finishing below us. And we look to be going into it devoid of confidence and rapidly running out of options to play all over the pitch. If we don't get some players back from injury, and given delph is suspended, baker and possibly Westwood may be injury doubts, I struggle to see how we're going to win it. Surely we must have some players back from injury soon!?!

Ultimately, yes, that is the top and bottom of it.

It's not going to be fixed by more of the same, it is not going to be fixed by low wage players, either. It is going to require more money, or, no matter how good the manager is or admirable his approach to the game, we are going to get relegated.

Utterly terrible, there wont be enough hyperbole in this thread to express how much of an embaressment this current team is
