I'm in the money which i'll gladly take. I really hate that Wanker Ireland before the game i popped into William Hill and had to spurs to win 0-4 at 66-1. We are by far the shittest team in the league and come May we will get what we deserve.

I totally understand what Lambert is trying to do, and I like it when it works, but the fact of the matter is, we have nowhere near sufficient quality in the side.

Some - Bennett, Herd, Delph - are quite clearly nothing like good enough. Some - KEA, Ireland - are probably good enough but don't show anything like enough desire to prove they are.

Lerner needs to take a look at where we are and reflect on how his stewardship of the club has gone the last few years.

He spent 20m on players though, and few of those players are anywhere near good enough.  ANY manager serving up an 8-0 and a 4-0 loss at home needs to have a long, hard look at themselves.

Well, I'm really having doubts about Lambert. That's pretty much 'his team' playing today, and they were shite. I know there's a few injuries, but can we honestly say that Gabby and N'Zogbia would have us doing much better?

At the moment, I suspect it's the last two performances that tell us more about the team than the two before them. Very worrying.

It's worrying...for all that was bad with us in the last few seasons, I can't remember getting such comprehensive spankings, and then some.
Injuries haven't helped but he's gonna have to spend in January or it will be touch and go again this season.

Only factor that I can cling on to is that we can forget about how we do against the top 6, it's how we do against the rest that will define the season...

If the pressure is the wage bill, it doesn't matter how much he spends, because ultimately, the players are going to be of a certain standard.

Practically speaking, what would we do if we sacked Lambert? Who would we appoint? What would they do?

Ultimately, nothing will change at this club until the chairman fucking wakes up and takes a look at the laughing stock we've been for most of the last three seasons.

We have to focus on proving we deserve to be a Premier League side, because on the evidence of the last two games, and many games before that, we don't

Aston Villa's soul is being sucked out of it by the owners. The whole pride and tradition is being disrespected by their acceptance of such utter shit.

We are ecoming a laughing stock whether we like it or not. Last year was dreadful. This summer should have been like the summer of 1995. Good Premier League standard players should have come in to give us a lift. Sure we unearthed some gems, but they should have been complimenting the likes of a Draper, Southgate, Milosevic.

This is an unforgiving league. I bet that twat Martinez is licking his lips at the prospect of playing us. That is the sad reality of Aston Villa FC after six years of the Lerner era.
