They are and they're not great against teams who sit deep at them like yesterday and losing at home to Wigan barely having a shock.

They're technically a better version of us under MON which is why they've been better away from home this season.

Clearly after today we have no option but to sit back as taking them on attacking with the defence vulnerable and with their pace would be suicidal.

Get plenty back and see what Benteke and Weimann can do on the break as their defence is hardly watertight themselves.

Ironic as Lichaj usually plays really well against them, last season he had Lennon in his pocket, season before he played very well against Bale.

More than a little fearful of Lennon and Bale if we play 3-5-2.

Lambert should be and is responsible for todays shambolic display. He is a young

manager learning so can be forgiven some mistakes and he needs to learn and learn quickly.

3-1 to Spurz. Wigan is the big game not this one.

No bounce back, no backlash. Just more misery, this time at home. Our spirit is shattered.

I'd certainly look at a couple of changes for each of the next few games. Mainly to try and keep people fresh. That's assuming we have enough fit players to do it.

Zog and Albrighton should certainly be getting a look in.

While I'm here, I'm going for a 1-1, Clark and Defoe to score.

I think they might just edge this one in injury time, 100-nil.

Of course we can win !
Also if it was a choice between a 1-0 win or a 5-1 win I want 1-0.
Clean sheet is everything !

Albrighton- no thanks, not good enough, nzogbia is a good call though in place of Holman.

I reckon we'll win this, for no other reason that everyone's on a down and we're not expected to do it. But the atmosphere will be ace and we'll surprise a few. I can see Lambert going back to square one though and putting N'Zog, Ireland, KEA and Delph in to try and put steel and experience in there.

And all that based on one game.

They are a good team hitting a bit of form.  We'll probably make some changes after today but i think we'll take a point.

After today, the good thing is that we don't have to wait long for the next game as I expect us to be very up for it.

1-1

What a pathetic comment.

Jesus, lighten up. It wasn't a serious statement.
