Someone needs to explain the offside rule to Benteke.

That was a shit pass from Bannan there.  Awful, under no pressure whatsoever.

As good as is to beat teams like Liverpool, what we simply must do between now and end of the season is defeat those teams in the bottom half of the table. Our goal difference is worth one less point, so we need to ensure that where we need to win we do. Anything else is a bonus.

For every Liverpool or Swansea, there's a Southampton. I think people were expecting a bit much after the last couple of games.

Maybe so, but nobody can be happy with being 3-0 down after half an hour when Chelsea haven't really had to play out of 2nd gear.  We look like the team who have travelled around the world in the last week.

We look like a team that has players that belong in the bottom half, against a side that, despite having a poor season, will comfortably finish in the top 4.

I thought you might say something like that!  I agree, just saying it's tough to accept being slaughtered with a cheery smile and a shrug.

Oh I agree, I'm far from pleased, just not surprised either.

Herd, Lichaj, Baker, Bannan...not exactly the sort of players that are going to get us results against teams outside of the bottom half. Despite progress in recent weeks, the team is still pretty shit.

That's one of the worst halves of football I've ever had the displeasure to watch.
