Well I've just dug the Asics shirt out for tomorrow for the first time since the 94 final itself. What the fuck was I thinking back then? I am 5 foot 7 yet the shirt is an XL and I look like I've got Big Daddy's top on. I know i am slimmer now but I definitely haven't shrunk in height. Ridiculous.

I would have got my 1971 LCF shirt out but it would not be a pretty sight.

You could always get the No9 bus from Brum if need be. It'll take you about 3 days though.

We're driving up  tomorrow and Parking at King Edwards School, having never parked there before, Is it an easy walk through the park on the way back (Snow dependent) or is it easier to walk round the park up Bevington Road?

The walk through the Park is great by the way, you never believe where you are and seeing the ground below you is awe inspiring.

Don't - I'm getting homesick

I always used to park at Ruskin Hall and walk down that way. It's such a unique approach to a stadium; down a tree lined walkway through a park, past a Jacobean house with bullet marks from the Civil War still on show, down the hill to see the Holte End hoving into view. Magnificent.

Same here Des. I booked the week off to decorate and I've done precisely fuck all today.

Mrs will be home soon, so I'll use my "Eeee, it's all the preparation, love" routine. Then, a hasty exit to the King Edward.

That`s just how I feel right now - VCTM jnr went to our last two visits to Wembley and said after the semi final - I never want to come here again Dad.Hopefully I will be asking him if he fancies another visit after the game tonight. Come on Villa - don`t let us down (again!)
