I flicked Talksport on and caught a bit of the news bulletins.I'm sure they said one of the stories of today was that Villa tried (and failed) to get an insurance company to insure our cup final prize money before the second leg on Tuesday.I only heard a few seconds before they stopped, but their tone and lack of ridicule toward the story made me think it wasn't a bollocks Twitter rumour or something.Has anyone seen anything relating to this?
Why is that even something Lambert would have a say in?

Doh etc..It would have been a boardroom decision. Lambert would have no say in it.

Board apparently considered it but Lambchop said no.
