Just when I realy want to hate them (well I do anyway), they go and post this....fair play to them

Quote
To all fans attending this weekend's game against Aston Villa:
As you are probably aware, Aston Villa's captain, Stiliyan Petrov, was diagnosed with acute leukaemia in March 2012. As a show of support for "Stan," Villa fans give their skipper an ovation with applause in the 19th minute of every home game.
This weekend, we intend to follow suit and give our own ovation, in unity with the travelling Villa fans, for Petrov. At the beginning of the 19th minute, we ask all fans to show their support and applaud for one minute.
Thank you.

If the whole ground show their support will be quite emotional i imagine!!!! At an away ground i mean,we're used to it at Villa Park.

Reading their forums...it's hardly worth us turning up....as they are going to batter us 5 or 6 nil.

Reminded me just how much I dislike their arrogance and superiority complex.

I have tremendous respect for the Hillsborough families and their search for justice but when it comes to matters on the pitch they are just below MUFC on my despise list.

Praying for a Benteke winner in the last minute....followed by multiple crying scousers phoning radio 5 live to moan.

It's interesting to see how much they rate (or fear) Benteke, being as he's been here such a short space of time.
I'm assuming that their knowledge of Villa being awful, cannon fodder, blah blah blah comes from thier extensive research of seeing us for 2 minutes at the end of MOTD.

Meanwhile  they seem to be that good that they must be challenging for the title...oh wait....

Very nice gesture. Didn't we makes some sort of gesture around the time of the 10th anniversary of Hillsborough? Seem to recall Bosnich laying flowers in front of the kop.

Lambert had a very good record against Rodgers' Swansea last year, a record he kept up against a Swansea side who maintain the exact same principles, and whose only real difference from last year is that they're probably a little better this season. He seems to know how to play them, and I don't think it takes long to work out what it is: it's the mental, high-octance, high up the pitch pressing game which unsettles a side trying to play out from the back as devotedly as Rodgers' sides do. It's a lot like how Dortmund outclassed City with less possession earlier this season: City's control of the ball was always in deep areas and always under threat - in effect, Dortmund were so relentless they almost attacked without the ball.

For this reason, and for his excellent form showed at Norwich, Holman has to start for me, and would be crucial. Weimann also works insanely hard, and if he's not too tired from Tuesday should start ahead of Gabby. Zog and Gabby would be very good coming off the bench to give us freshness and pace in attack against a potentially tiring Liverpool defence, especially if the game is getting stretched at that point.

"Just had a quick look on the villa forum and it's amazing how confident they are for this one...most of them predicting wins, some 'settling for a draw'. Really home we smash them, think it might finish 2-0/2-1 to us but predicting a nervy one."

How dare we be confident about getting a result against them at fortress Anfield
