We'll loose this one I reckon. 3-0 to the dippers.

LOSE!

I miss the sugar factory in Carlow by the way.

I don't rate em, and I really hate em. That said I just can't see us winning

Interesting match thread on RAWK:

(The post-Norwich smell of fear starts kicking in on pages 3/4...)

Glad I read that thread makes me hate them even more!

Massive delusions of grandeur in the red side of Liverpool! As for the moron giving his tacital analysis what Villa team is he talking about? We focus down the right and Gabby is the power player?  :o

Enrique apparantly out need to exploit Downing's defending weakness down the left

As for RAWK bunch of glory hunting twats I hope Liverpool never get near the top 4 again

Don't worry, they're already well into their slide, and it will be long and painful.

The 77 away win at anfield (2-1 Gray x 2) is still I think the game that made me fall in love with the club. I remember sitting watching MOTD as a kid with my mom, mesmerised that we'd won there and then I had that beautiful kit for Xmas and didn't take it off until about July.
t
I went to that game. Liverpool were virtually unbeatable at home at that time.
It was great to see their mighty Kop reduced to silence.

i also went to that game as a 15 year old,
got absolutely battered outside the ground, my mate had his nose broken and was chased all over the place trying to get back to Lime street

It was a hairy place to go all right. My biggest memory of that game apart from us beating them was of being showered with fireworks, particularly bangers by their moronic fans in the ground! Segregation was virtually non-existent in the Anfield Road end.

I would play Herd in the right wing back role to kick the fuck out of Downing!

After seeing Villa again, I'm going to up my prediction.

We are going to win this game upward of 4-0. I suspect 5-0, although 6-0 wouldn't be an unreasonable prediction. Villa are easily the worst side that I've ever seen in the top flight in decades. They are abysmal all over the pitch. No cohesion, no belief, no guts, no ability, no desire.

This, my friends, is going to be an absolute battering come the weekend. Villa are going to get absolutely pounded into the floor.

This will be the easiest game that Brendan Rodgers will ever have for this club.

Am I right in saying there was no streams available on Tuesday night for the Norwich game?

They don't seem to show the League Cup in Abu Dhabi.

Some massive assumptions (with plenty of speculation treated as fact) in the opening post on there.

RAWKs Dish of the Day:

Massive Assumptions served with a thick Misplaced Arrogance Sauce and a side of Sense of Entitlement, liberally garnished with Ignorance and a generous sprinkle of Tactical Fuckwittery.

Mm-mmm!

Being as the date this coming Saturday is 15th December; older fans will remember 15th December, 1976 when we trounced the 'Pool 5-1 at Villa Park! If the omens are correct, it'll be 1-5 to us! However, realistically, I reckon a hard-fought draw 1-1. But, you never know!!

I remember that game so well...was 10 years old and there with my dad......there were several scousers getting a good kicking in electric avenue afterwards

The classic lesson was learnt on merseyside - if a scouser asks you the time , never answer as the midlands accent gives you away.

It's their oldest trick for finding out away fans.

So do I miss it, my ability to spell "lose" has gone down the drain since it left us. Thanks Eamonn, it's good to know someone is looking out for me.
