The 77 away win at anfield (2-1 Gray x 2) is still I think the game that made me fall in love with the club. I remember sitting watching MOTD as a kid with my mom, mesmerised that we'd won there and then I had that beautiful kit for Xmas and didn't take it off until about July.

This is one of a select number of games I would love to win more than any other, with the possible exception of Chavski whom I also loathe. I still remember being out on the town on my summer hols in the south of France when we won there a couple of seasons back 3-1 and what a night that was...

Being as the date this coming Saturday is 15th December; older fans will remember 15th December, 1976 when we trounced the 'Pool 5-1 at Villa Park! If the omens are correct, it'll be 1-5 to us! However, realistically, I reckon a hard-fought draw 1-1. But, you never know!!

Agree.  As a 14 year old stood on Holte with my brothers, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.  Fantastic memories. The second half performance was never going to be able to live up to the first.
