Good half, but Fergie is going to give Kevin Friend one hell of a bollocking at half time. On one occassion he actually gave us two decisions on the trot! I expect Friend to pull out all of the stops in the 2nd half or else Howard Webb might come on

And just think, there were a few people already writing Benteke off. The bloke looks a beast of a player. He could be a real world class player.

As said on the thread for him, I can't see any flaw in his game, looks like an exceptional talent for his age, we've found a real gem in him.

It's the hope that kills you!

Yep, they will be level around the 60 minute mark and then some twat - take your pick - will get the winner for them in the last five minutes.....

Weimanns not been that bad. He's taken up good positions, and like everyone else he's worked really hard defensively. A couple of times particularly the 3 on 3, he's picked the wrong option or waited too long.

We've a lot to be proud of whatever happens here.

I can't believe people wrote him off Pete, he is such an athlete that at his age he could become anything he wants. A lot of very big clubs will watch him and want him.

It shouldn't shock you in the least that some people wrote him off after 2 or 3 games. He's a young kid and he'll only get stronger and better.

The next 45 minutes will be an entirely different test and we need to keep our shape and discipline and most importantly take any chances that might come our way. We all know Man U have more gears and options off the bench. We need to stay very strong and keep going at them.

Smalling flew into Benteke and bounced off. Fuck off Wilkins, Smalling just found out how big and strong the big man is.
