Benteke is worth a bloody fortune. Fortune. He will go for more than Milner and Young easily. Fucking beast of a footballer, and I really, really hope we hang onto him for more than a couple of seasons. Such a talented brute of a kid.

Lambert can spot a player can't he. Lowton, Vlaar and Benteke are all exceptional.

Agreed.  Westwood very tidy too.

I'm surprisingly relaxed right now. I think it's because i'm not at the game and fully expect us to be twatted. If we dare take the lead i'll be straight into cardiac territory.

Ha! So much for being fucking relaxed. I'll be chain smoking now.

Why oh why did I give up the fags?

Brilliant half, brilliant goal.  We have a real player in Benteke.

And just think, there were a few people already writing Benteke off. The bloke looks a beast of a player. He could be a real world class player.

Very good half, enjoyed watching it and we deserve the goal. Considering its 11 v 12 we're doing very well. Ireland has played well.

He's been due a goal! Probably his worst performance of the season so far, but perhaps our best, and Weimann gets the goal he's been due for weeks. Whatever happens, we can be proud of that first half.

Weimann has been really poor. Until the moment he twatted the ball at Gabby and Gabby managed to duck, giving Ed De Goey no chance behind him.

Weimann was the only player who I thought was poor. Now I want his babies.

That first half performance even without the goal was the best i've seen for some time.

I can't believe people wrote him off Pete, he is such an athlete that at his age he could become anything he wants. A lot of very big clubs will watch him and want him.

No wonder Lambert hung out for him through all the price kerfuffle at the time
