On the train up from London for my first game of the season. 2 -1 villa for me. Gabby on the break in th first half. RVP with a sweet 18 yard volley straight after half time. Then a concrete Ron demolition header from a corner on 77 minutes.

This train jourmey from London to Brum to watch the game is torture. I have forgot my headphones so am having to listen to the inane jibber jabber of cockney reds. A couple of them support West Ham as well.

Hope we smash them.

Doesn't look like it'll be too bad for the game according to the Met Office

Pfft, as if they will be more accurate than my sophisticated method of opening the window and sticking my head out.

Could be an idea. On the upside just had a Twix and looked inside the wrapper to find out I had won another chocolate bar - so it's not all bad.

Very mild, limited wind, occasional blue sky. Dry.
