I think the very least we can expect is that we will at least give it a go. We might not succeed in getting anything but I don't for one minute think Lambert will send out, whatever team is available, 11 players who will simply roll over. We might just surprise ourselves.UTV

I maybe uttering famous last words here but Rooney isn't world class. He had the potential to be as a young kid, but isn't. RVP is though.

In the defence of Wayne, the way he completely turned around our cup final a few years ago is one of the best performances from an individual I've seen.

Yeah you're right - a World XI would be taking things a little too far but you know what I mean... He has the potential to change games though I'll give him that, so his performance overall may not be what was originally promised, I guess sometimes that doesn't matter. Hopefully there'll be none of that on show later mind!
